Hopefully this can clarify confusion, if any, surrounding the current news stories of the exposing of the FLDS polygamist compound in Texas. Gordan B. Hinckley, former president of the LDS/Mormon church (The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints), stated in 1998: "I wish to state categorically that this Church has nothing whatever to do with those practicing polygamy.
