Shenanigans are what this little rascal has been up to lately! Two days ago he and I were at the botanical gardens again, exploring the bamboo forests.
Together we were peering into a pond full of baby fish, when Kimball's feet just slid down the slippery slope and he ended up soaked in pond water up to his waist! "Ohhhh!" he gasped. I was almost a little rankled at first, but then realized the situation was nothing but funny, and I stripped him down to nothing on a bench right there by the pond, changed his diaper (glad I had extra!), rinsed off his feet and sandals with his water bottle, and mopped him dry with his shirt. Luckily no one else was around during the whole ordeal. I laughed it off and gave him lots of hugs and smiles, because he seemed quite surprised and disgruntled by it all, as you can tell by this face:
We made it back to the car after much dillydallying along the path by the shenaniganzer. Somehow I knew this was going to happen one of these days. Oh well. It will happen again another time, I'm sure!

Anybody see anything that doesn't seem to belong on my bedside table? Unless I enjoy middle of the night snacks of jam and honey, those bottles should probably be in the pantry! Yesterday after a shopping trip, a few grocery items were still out, waiting to be put away. Kimball grabbed the honey, and said, "Daddy!" and ran off to the bedroom where Jordan was reading. He came back out, grabbed the jam, yelled "Daddy!", and dashed off--pitter patter--to the bedroom again. I called after him to be careful with the glass jar. "Yes," he acknowledged. Later, Jordan told me that Kimball literally threw the jam jar at him. I wish I could get into this kid's brain and examine his logic and trains of thought!
I found Kimball doing this one day almost a year and a half ago,
but since that day he has not so much as acknowledged toilet paper, no, not once. So I couldn't quite believe my eyes when I opened the bathroom door (nervously responding to a toilet flush) and found this:
Wait, it gets worse:
How do you go from completely ignoring the existence of something for 1.5 years to this??
Of course I wasn't about to let what was mostly perfectly good TP go to waste.
What do you think?
Kimball makes me laugh so much! Don't you wish you had one to provide you with your own personal entertainment?
Sorry, he's all mine!

I think you handled all of the Kimball situations marvelously! Kimball was very thoughtful to make sure his daddy had a sweet treat from the grocery store! Jordan must have been good to warrant 2 treats!
I love the first picture of Kimball. He looks so grown up! He's so cute! Great job on rolling the toilet paper back up. That's such a hard job to do!
Oh, too funny! I've said it before, but Kimball is just too stinkin' cute! Situations like that sometimes make you want to pull your hair out at the time, but they seem so much funnier afterwards. I love the "mostly perfectly good TP"- I would have done the same thing! Haha. Toddlers!
