Evening Walks

Almost every night Jordan and I take Kimball out for a walk in his stroller. We love the cool evenings, seeing Kimball enjoy the outdoors, and just having time to talk after busy days. Kimball really likes our walks too, even though they're usually so nice that he ends up like this:

For some reason, we love to walk around the neighborhoods and find homes for sale or rent, even though we are in no way, shape, or form looking for a house. It's just fun to look, especially in the older neighborhoods where all the houses are different and have a lot of character. Today we took a long walk to find the house that Jordan lived in when he was just a little baby himself! It's probably about a 3-5 minute drive from our apartment (or a 30-45 minute walk!). Welcome home Jordan! What a cute little house.

How fun! We love to go walking in the evenings, too. It's always relaxing and refreshing. But it is starting to get too hot and humid now, even when the sun goes down.

How cute! Walks are always a wonderful thing. Such a cute little house that Jordan grew up in! That'd be a great first house for you. Hehe!

We love walks too! Addison usually ends up in the same position as Kimball! How fun is that to see Jordan's childhood home?

Oh man, I love taking evening walks. So relaxing.

I hope little Kimball keeps his hair color- it's so beautiful!

I'm touched that you went back to that house, Jordan. That's the house with the infamous first family home videos of you banging on the car with a wrench, sitting on your baby sister Kourtney like a horse, making a moustache out of Scotch tape, and performing some of your earliest rock-n-roll hits, including the disturbingly morose (especially for a 2 year old) "She Died."

One of these days I'll find the apartment we lived in before this when Kourtney was actually born. It was pretty much like the place you're in now!

How cool that the old house is still there for you guys to see--so many old houses get demolished to make way for bigger and better, then all that is left are photos and memories. Awesome!

So precious! I just tried to take Cole for a walk and he was asleep by the end of the driveway. I just turned around--we'll try later ;)
