Resurrection

I am going to attempt to resurrect this blog. In this new world of Facebook, Twitter, and who knows what else, blogging now seems a bit antiquated. No instant feedback! No "like" button! But I can say more on a blog and share more pictures without risking annoying those who don't like to see baby pictures or aren't interested in kids...because I do kids these days. And mostly, I'd like to share more with my grandparents, who still check this blog on a regular basis, and have been disappointed for nearly a year now. So grandma and grandpa, this is for you.

I'm not going to attempt to log everything we do, or make up for lost time. Having a new baby will limit me to just a simple post here and there, short and with out proofreading.

So, without further ado, here are some pictures of our day at Old Town San Diego. It was a Mormon Battalion celebration. Both Kimball and Silas were awesome. Kimball had fun. Silas mostly slept. We saw a bunch of families from our ward. It was a great family outing.

YAY! I know that Grandma and Grandpa will be so happy to see this blog post, Ash! As am I! These pictures are adorable! I love, love, love seeing Kimball's signature on the Enlistment Roster written in his own hand! Atta boy, Kimball!

No pressure to do another post right away, except I will say, "ENCORE! ENCORE! ENCORE!"
