Is he a kid yet?

Here are some more of Kimball's antics. Yesterday, while Grandpa was here, Kimball cleared off his stack of books and demonstrated a new skill he made up. He wasn't even doing it with pillows, but this morning I thought he might like a little padding for his landing.

Holy cow, I'm just tickled to my toes with this boy! And to answer your question, YES! Yes, he is officially a kid now that he has begun to wantonly dive off of high places head first. The rite of passage to kiddom has been accomplished!

I don't mean to alarm you, but I sense that Kimball has more than a touch of his great-uncle Gwyl in him. Gwyl is the kid who jumped off of the roof of the garage holding an umbrella thinking it would help him fly. Not one to be deterred, he did it again except he was holding a kite. Broken bones both times as I recall. Forewarned is forearmed . . .

It must be genetic, because Addison does the same kinds of things. I totally agree with your mom that they get it from my dad. (And she is exactly right, he did jump off the roof of the house twice!) My little dare devil just wants to see her mom have a heart attack before she turns 3. I like that Kimball had the forsight to put pillows down to catch his fall, lest there be any broken bones. He is definately a big kid now. Once he has this conquered, he is going to find higher and higher places to jump from...I PROMISE!

Oh, what adventures he is sure to have! :)

He is such a big boy! I'm so sorry about the daredevil gene! If it's any consolation, his great uncle Gwyl is much more conservative now! If he jumps off of a garage now, it will be onto a pile of pillows like Kimballs!

Haha, SO cute! I'll bet a boy is so much fun to have. One of my friends has to bungee cord all of their chairs to their table so their 2 and 4 year old boys don't drag them around the house finding the tallest things possible to jump off of. Haha. Kimball's so cute.

Oh my goodness, Ashley. This is adorable! I can't BELIEVE how big he is! And I think I enjoyed hearing your voice and laughter as much I enjoyed his stunts. So cute.

Thanks for keeping in touch, Ashley. It's so good of you and I always love to hear from you!
