Happy Thanksgiving!

Here is another belated post for a holiday. We had a really fun Thanksgiving this year at my family's house. Jordan's family came over for dinner, along with my cousin Lindsay. It was really fun to have such a big crowd! The food was spectacular, especially the turkey. Usually the turkey is one of my least favorite parts of Thanksgiving because I love all the side dishes so much more, and the turkey can be kind of dry sometimes. But this year, my dad brined the turkey in such a way that it was super, super moist, even the white meat! It was so yummy! And of course, we had a bunch of traditional Thanksgiving foods, like Judy's yams and Hungarian potatoes. The evening was completed with a group performance of Christmas carols with bells, a guessing contest of Kimball's due date, weight, and length, and yummy pies for dessert!

Pictures!

Oh, and we can't forget the long-awaited debut of a movie my dad made with his friends when they were in high school, about a murderer imprisoned in the Utah State Prison (real guy, the first execution in the U.S. after the death penalty was legalized again back in the day) and his wild and crazy escape (not real), including a scene where my Grandpa's old Ford truck is filmed flying through the air ("we took several angles of that shot" says my dad). I'd heard about this movie all growing up, so it was way fun to actually see it. Maybe I will find some way to post it here.
