See you in two weeks!

So we're taking off tomorrow on a road trip to Kentucky, and we'll be gone for almost two weeks, so don't expect any posts. We're going for Jordan's work, but we should have a lot of time for fun. On the way back, we're stopping in Chicago to see the zoo, a museum, and some other cool stuff. It will be great to see the city again. It's going to be a lot of driving, but the rental car, the gas, most of the food, and most if not all of the hotels are paid for, so the driving will be totally worth it! I'll be sure to try and get a lot of pictures.

So the very day or the day after we get back in town is our ultrasound appointment! This means this is your last chance to guess whether we're having a boy or a girl. At this point, I'm clueless. But so excited! It's like it's Christmas and someone has promised you a gift that you really want, you're not sure which variety (neither do you care), but you know you're getting the gift just the same. We will be excited to post about that when we find out. I've definitely been feeling the baby this week. For a couple of weeks I wasn't sure what it was, but this week I can say for certain that it's the baby. Jordan has even been lucky enough to feel it once or twice with his hand. I feel him or her the most at night when I'm sitting still on the couch or on the bed. It's so cool! It's still not very strong or frequent, but it will be soon, I'm sure.

We'll be back soon with a lot to talk about!

Too bad you're not going a few weeks later, then maybe I could see you in Indiana...if you're even going through IN. Have fun!

Sounds like a really fun trip! How long is that drive--about 25 hours?? Enjoy seeing the countryside and Chicago. I love big cities... I'll be in NYC next weekend and am excited about that!

Merry Christmas to you guys on August 20th! And to me too! I can hardly wait to find out if Baby is a boy or a girl!!! Then, let the shopping begin! Isn't it amazing and miraculous to realize that a person, a person who will someday touch the lives of others, is growing right this moment inside of you?! Joy!
