This little kid was in heaven, I tell you! His only complaint was that he couldn't get in the planes. But they told me that they are opening some of them for kids to get inside tomorrow, so we may just have to go back.
While we were there, a bunch of Marines were practicing for some sort of ceremony. All of them had something to say about Kimball's yellow boots.
You can tell a couple of things from these pictures:
1) The weather is to die for. 70 degrees today and sunny.
2) Kimball is one happy kid.
3) He is also learning how to pose and smile for photos.
4) I can't choose which pictures to post, so you get them all.
Some old women's uniforms:

Finally, something he could sit in!
Kimball's getting pretty good with the camera himself.
Me with flags from every state I've lived in:
Happy to have some dress up time:
And the souvenir of the day: a Blue Angel!

Good golly miss molly! How fun!
I would have to agree with you on all four counts about what we can tell from the pictures! These are just so ding-dong cute of both of you! I am loving Kimball's yellow boots! I think it should be known that Kimball actually EARNED those boots through hard work and perseverance! Your aviator glasses look so cute on you, Ash, and how very apropos for your outing!
This excursion must have been an absolute dream come true for this little leatherneck!
can i just say that i love his little boots? good. i just did.
He wanted "yellow rubber rain boots" for keeping his paints dry 10 days in a row while we were potty training, so I got him some. They're Crocs. I think they're pretty much the cutest thing ever.
Looks like you two had a great time! I love Kimball's boots. He looks so happy in all the pictures. Love it!
