The Hare Krishna temple is a really neat place. On the first floor, there is a shop and a vegetarian buffet. The second floor is a beautiful room where people come to play traditional music, think, visit, and worship. Anyone can go, but you have to take off your shoes!
Several times a year, there are public events celebrating various Indian festivals, such as the Festival of Colors, India Fest, and (my favorite) Llama fest!

What a fun family day! Love all the animals!
That was great that you got to take Kimball with you guys, even for a few minutes. I absolutely love llamas. I asked (begged) Uncle Gwyl to buy me a llama that was for sale in the paper when I was a kid. Needless to say, he said no. I still hold a grudge to this day!
I love llamas! I There are couple that live by me. I've named them Llarry and Lliam. But, because it's so cold outside, I haven't seen them for a while. I miss them.
I'm ridiculously impressed that you were able to get a picture while holding a baby. I've tried multiple times and I'm just not that coordinated. (His facial expression in that one is priceless.)
What a fun adventure for Kimball! Just curious--do you tell Kimball that he is about to be spit upon by a "yama" or a "lama"? I never know which way to pronounce it.
Oh. It's camels that do the spitting, huh.
Jen--maybe someday, Randy will get you a llama for your birthday!
Jenni--your llama names are cute!
Alicia--taking the picture with Kimball was harder than I thought it would be.
Mom--'Round these parts, I say 'lama'...I'm not hispanic, after all. And I'm pretty sure they also spit, although they are supposedly gentle creatures.
