Nebo Loop Drive

Way back in January my mom gave Grandma Bea the birthday present of a promise to take her on a beautiful scenic drive in southern Utah. We had to wait until the weather got nicer and the trees got leaves, but soon the spring and summer passed and autumn arrived! So today my family and I took her on a drive on the Nebo Loop--a lot closer to home, but a very beautiful trip. Grandma had a great time ("It's great to get out and go somewhere!"). It was cute to see her marvel at the GIS unit we had in the car that was telling us where to go ("This thing is impossible!") It was a gorgeous day and the trees were vibrant and beautiful. Afterward we had dinner at a yummy restaurant in Payson. It was fun to get out with the family. Happy (belated) birthday Grandma! We love you!

A view from the mountain of Utah Valley and Utah Lake.

We saw the biggest bumble bee ever up there!

A very pretty view.

The fam, minus Sean and Jordan. We missed you Jordan!

The family, plus some nice people we met on the road. It was fun to see some snow in the mountains!
