Kason and me last year, when he was almost 4

We've been rearranging some furniture to make room for baby stuff. This means taking all of Jordan's heavy books off the shelves and moving the shelves to different rooms, then putting the books back on the shelves. Whew! It doesn't sound that bad, but I mostly did all of it while Jordan was at school, and it sure made me tired! We have a crib, but we haven't put it together yet (it's the same crib that me and my brothers all slept in!). I'm excited to see it up. The baby seems to be doing well. Last week I felt a tap...tap...behind my belly button. I'm not sure what it was...probably just a gas bubble or something! I think it's a little early for me to be feeling movement, but I hope I feel it soon! I should within the next few weeks. Look at the boy vs girl poll! The girl is totally winning. I must admit, I voted for a girl myself, just because if I had to guess, that's what my guess would be. But what I want is a different matter. That changes every few weeks or so. Last month I really wanted a girl, but for the last few weeks I've been thinking boy, boy, boy! Now I'm kind of in between. So I know that whatever it turns out to be, I will be thrilled! In other good and totally unrelated news, I got a nice scholarship for fall semester, so it should cover a big chunk of my tuition. Yay!
We're looking forward to a fun weekend of seeing some extended family on my mom's side, then going to see The Dark Knight with Jordan's family. I'm excited to see it, but I know it's going to scare me too!
By the way, we added a new link to our blog where you can see some of our favorite things to cook. This is especially for Judy, who wanted us to share some recipes with her.
We'll try to post more later, hopefully with something more exciting to share!

Ash! I love your food blog! I'm so glad to see some of our family's favorites posted there. And I think I'm going to try a couple of the other ones that you have because they sound so delish!
Yay recipe blog! Do you like cabbage/coleslaw? If you do I will give you a recipe (it is a very healthy, vinegar-based coleslaw, not a creamy one).
Congratulations on the scholarship! Where are you moving the books to? I can't picture where they'd fit!
Also, key lime pie recipe!
Hey, yeah, send me the coleslaw recipe! We're putting two of the bookshelves on the left of the couch as you look at it, between the couch and the wall. The other is in the kitchen. Sounds funny, but they actually all look really good. I'll take pictures!
Haha, I mean the right of the couch. It was late when I wrote that.
Kason still talks about the fun time he had at "Ashley's house" making cookies. Thanks for spending the time with him. I know it is paying off in how close all "the brothers" feel to you guys.
Also excited to explore more recipes!
