Sean's Mission Call

Sorry we haven't posted forever! We've been really busy, what with finals and papers for Jordan, and about a month of continued field work in the southern part of the state for me, so we haven't had time to post, and I haven't really felt like anything has happened worth writing about anyway. But finally we have some great news! Sean received his mission call in the mail yesterday, and very kindly waited until we all got together to open it (he was very impatient). He is going to the Honduras Comayaguela mission, and will speak Spanish! He leaves on September 24th, so we still have quite a bit of time with him. He and the rest of us are very excited! Here are some photos of him retrieving the letter and opening it!

Hi Ashley & Jordan
It's Diane here, in Benfleet, UK - just wanted to let you know I've caught up with your blog, and enjoyed reading what you've been doing, also the rest of the family - brings you closer. Please congratulate Sean on his High School graduation - your dad sent us a card. Hope he will really have a great time on his mission - how long will he be away? What will he be doing afterwards?
Hope this message reaches you OK.

Forgot to ask when Jordan get's the results of his finals - what will he be doing next? How did the field work go, Ashley?
Diane.

Hi Diane, thanks for stopping by our blog! It's good to hear from you. Sean leaves in September and will be gone for two years. My mom is already missing him like crazy! He's already been accepted to BYU, so he'll start when he gets back. Jordan's finals went well and he's already into his summer semester. He's hoping to graduate in December, then look into some graduate schools. My field work is going really well, but after about 3 months of being out of town most of the week, I'm kind of ready to take a break. I only have 2 more weeks left, though, so I think I can make it! Are you and Dave coming to visit this summer? We'd love to see you!
